Last Tuesday night at Fletchers Canterbury we held our third Design Series night hosted by Caroline Dawborn, our Customer Experience Manager.
Those who attended enjoyed an evening of canapes and champagne before a presentation by leading Melbourne Interior Designer, Andrew Mitchell.
Andrew established his interior design company, Mr. Mitchell in 2000 and has won various industry awards.
During Andrew's presentation, he shared that he is of the opinion that 'eclectics styles outlast fashions and trends' and suggested the use of neutral tones as 'colours are trend orientated'.
Another piece of advice he shared was to 'collect artwork that has a story and that you have a personal connection to', this could be a photo taken by yourself or artwork purchased because of a story or feeling it evokes.
