Fletchers Christmas Giving Appeal
Homelessness is on the rise. Thousands of Victorians are still searching for a safe place to call home, many of whom experience trauma, isolation, acute mental illness or disability. - Servants Community Housing
Throughout the year, Fletchers have developed a relationship with the good people of Servants, a group of four local community houses who support more than 95+ residents across Boroondara at risk of homelessness.
For 35+ years, their incredible work has supported hundreds of people in our local community, offering a unique housing model which includes shared meals, live-in house managers, tenancy support and opportunities for growth and connection, enabling their residents to retain agency whilst remaining connected with their community and world around them.
Having witnessed firsthand the challenges our community faces in terms of housing affordability, we share in Servants belief system that everyone deserves a safe, stable and affordable place to call home.
This Christmas, our group ran an internal donations drive with the aim of raising enough money to provide a Christmas meal to each and every resident and staff member on Christmas Day.

We were thrilled when we surpassed our target and the remainder of funds raised will go towards purchasing a mulcher the residents had high on their Christmas wish list, enabling them to continue self-managing the gardens at Carrical House which brings them so much joy.
Throughout 2023, we look forward to partnering with Servants across many of their community events, helping to bring awareness and raise some much needed funds which will contribute towards the long-term success of their service.
