With Fletchers having been part of the small to medium business movement for more than 100 years, we all know how having the support of your local community is imperative to the success of any business.

Now more than ever, small businesses need their customer base to stay loyal, (so while being mindful of unnecessary spending over the coming months is important), we've researched a few ways where we can support our favourite businesses and maybe even end up with a free pint or two!

Love Your Local (Pub)

Australians are being encouraged to support their local pubs by 'buying a beer' which they can redeem when coronavirus restrictions are wound back and venues re-open.

Carlton and United Breweries, along with the Hotels Association, are matching the purchases 'pint for pint'. A generous incentive, but of course, we encourage all staff to drink responsibly.

Fruit & Veggies

Instead of heading to Coles or Woolies, why not support your local grocer, or better yet, the local growers! @MelbourneFarmersMarkets is now available online for collection in Alphington on Wednesdays & Sundays, of which all produce purchased is bought directly from the farmers. Melbourne Farmers Market is simply acting as an intermediary to connect you directly to the farmer.
