For the time being, our social calendars have been put on hold and we've been forced to recreate some of our wonderful celebrations in our lives from the comfort of our living rooms.
So, how then do we honour these significant events that mean so very much to us all? Birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, Mother's Day!
What is it that makes these dates so special? It's never the presents, always the presence, but this year is an exception and it's a great reason for us to get creative with our gifting! It's in times like this where we really need to dig deep to discover what makes an experience meaningful and go the extra mile in making sure these days don't pass by unnoticed.
Here's some creative ideas you could use to spoil your mum this Mother's Day and also translate into other special occasions throughout our time in isolation.
Send Her a Grazing Platter:
- @feastandcomelbourne have a wonderful Mother's Day promo on, delivering your Mum a bespoke grazing board for her to enjoy! (Umm, yes please). Many of us have been lucky enough to sample the deliciousness of a Feast&Co. platter. Get in touch via their Instagram.
Virtual Skin Consultation:
- @marciwellness are offering virtual skin consultation vouchers and with every gift voucher purchased receive a BONUS $50 voucher to be used in-store or online (This will be a winner for every tired home schooling mum out there!)
Create a Photo Album:
- Create a photo album of the grandkids with all of the special moments the Grandparents may have missed out on over these last few months. Kids change so much, they'll treasure receiving such a thoughtful gift.
