Whether it's co-ordinating artwork, booking publications or processing new sales listings, Amy is the go-to property marketing specialist at Fletchers. Focused on ensuring our client's property campaigns are successfully managed, Amy is an expertly skilled and highly valued member of the team.
You are one creative lady, what do you enjoy most about your role working as Fletchers Marketing Co-ordinator?
It's a fast-paced industry that is constantly evolving so I'm always learning! I also work with an amazingly supportive team.
Marketing aside, you have a pretty serious side hustle @feastandcomelbourne. Tell us, how did this come about?
My good friend Natalie and I were always putting on mini cheese platters amongst our friends. We decided to do our own spread for my engagement party and all the guests were so impressed to learn that we had done it ourselves. Monday morning, after a few emails back and forth, Nat and I thought 'what have we got to lose!? Let's give this a go ourselves!' and alas, Feast & Co was born!
With a full time job, a full time side hustle and a wedding to plan, what's your No.1 Wellness Tip to ensure you stay on top of your game and look after your mental health at the same time?
Ensure you make a conscious effort to take some time out for yourself! Have a hot bath with some essential oils, go for a walk, watch your favourite TV show - it doesn't matter what it is, as long as it makes you feel good! It's okay to be selfish with your time when it comes to your mental health.
Tell us a bit more about @feastandcomelbourne.
Our feasts incorporate a rustic look where less definitely is not more. we focus on high quality meats and cheeses that should always be shared amongst family and friends! We love creating height and depth on our tables using different levels, primarily our crumpet box, which has become our signature look!
What fun gigs have you got coming up this year?
Fletchers Design Night is coming up in October which we are so excited to be a part of this year! We are also so excited to bring it back to where it all began at Kalon Hair & Wellness 1st Birthday Event! We were blessed to do our first grazing table for the beautiful Carla at one of her wellness nights (side note, highly recommend!). We have also recently collaborated with DeBortoli wines so expect to see some fun pairings of their wine with our cheeses!
It's been an exciting year with Fletchers being in its Centenary year. Owning a business of your own, what message have you taken from this milestone?
That for a business to be successful it needs to have a clear vision and consistent message. Fletchers focus on family has always been at the core of the business and that still remains to this day.
If you could pick one thing that's going to take the marketing real estate to the next level, what would it be?
Hard to pick just one! Going digital, inbound marketing and social media are my top picks!
What unique trait do you bring to the marketing team?
I have come from an administration background and it often helps knowing what will/won't work at a ground level when implementing a new process or systems, so I'm able to offer some solid insight into this within the team.
Do you have a wellness non-negotiable?
Never restrict yourself and eat foods that make you feel good!
What does success mean to you?
Success to me means being truly happy and content with all aspects of life. It's not always the people who have the most that are the happiest, it's the people who enjoy what they have!
