Well that's a wrap!
The #9theblock auctions were officially a success!
This year's season showcased some great trends, which I'm sure we'll see run into 2019 and beyond. My favourites being...
Lots of deeper shades for kitchen cabinetry. Colours like @dulux 'Oolong' are my picks to feature in kitchen renovations next year!
I loved the use of natural materials such as the timber panelling on the ceilings in @biancaandcarla's apartment. It adds such a sophisticated element to any space, allowing you to have less clutter as minimal styling decor is required.
Move over the trusty 'fiddle leaf fig' there is some new indoor greenery taking centre stage! And we love it! This year we saw more statement indoor pieces like in @normandjess's apartment where they featured larger more delicate trees in both their living and bathroom spaces. One of my favourite design features of the series!
And lastly, the Challenge Kitchen. I thought it epitomised the Melbourne cafe lifestyle and got the target market absolutely spot on! A kitchen is the hub of any home and I could see myself lounging around in this Urban Retreat over brunch, coffee, reading the papers or even hosting a fabulous party! Well done teams, well done!
