Reaching a major milestone such as a 100-year anniversary is a feat very few Australian real estate agencies ever accomplish.
From humble beginnings at their first offices at 2 Cotham Road in Kew in 1919, to a network of over 20 offices more than a century later, the foundations established by the Fletcher family in the early days enabled the business to remain relevant over the years, despite the rapidly increasing pace of change.
Executive Chairman, Rob Fletcher, commented, 'it's been nearly 50 years since I started working in the company and it is amazing to think 50 years later, we are celebrating our 100th. To be part of the growth and working with so many wonderful people has been a real highlight of my time'.
Last weekend, Fletchers celebrated this landmark achievement at their Centenary Awards Night, a formal, black-tie event which was held in the Main Room at Melbourne Town Hall.
Continuing the tradition of recognising colleagues for their outstanding contribution towards the organisation, Fletchers commemorated the special occasion by unveiling a range of new and exciting innovations on the night, which included a new Brand Film and Centenary Documentary.
'The decision for Fletchers to produce a brand film and documentary reflective of our longstanding history and strong family values was an important part of our Centenary celebrations,' Director and CEO, Bradley Brown, remarked.
Produced by Sarah Lowry, Beth Oleyar and Prue Fletcher from Fletchers Marketing Department and Directed by Melbourne-based production agency, Shon Productions, the brand film and documentary were generously sponsored by Channel Nine, who sought to assist Fletchers in documenting this momentous milestone in Fletchers history.
