We enjoyed a quiet Easter weekend, taking a break after a bumper auction day on the 19th of March, where the REIV reported that the record for the highest number of homes sold in a single weekend was broken!
Across Victoria, there are only 60 auction scheduled for the coming weekend, increasing to more than 550 for the weekend thereafter.
Fletchers on the Southern Peninsula achieved a fantastic result on the weekend, with the sale of 2 Kelly Close in Rye. Set on over an acre, the family home is comprised of four bedrooms plus study, open plan living and dining with a central kitchen and large north facing timber deck overlooks a swimming pool and a south facing deck is located on the opposite side of the home. Competitive bidding amongst four parties helped this property reach a final sale price of $926,000; the vendors and purchasers had a very happy Easter indeed!
We hope you and your family enjoyed a safe and relaxing holiday break.
The lucky purchasers of 2 Kelly Close in Rye.
