It was a rather grey Saturday of auctions, but a little sunshine brought the bidders out.

The REIV reported a clearance rate of 74% over the weekend, with 761 auctions scheduled and 559 of those selling under the hammer.

Secure and central, 3/14 Rugby Road in Hughesdale was the perfect opportunity for first home buyer or astute investors. The ground floor apartment is privately positioned at the rear of the block and offers two spacious and light filled bedrooms, open plan living and dining and a private courtyard. There were two eager bidders on auction day that helped the property reach final sale price of $455,000.

This very liveable home attracted the attention of four bidders on auction day. The home reached a final sale price of $1.13 million.
