The Domain Group stated that "the number of first-home buyers using stamp duty concessions has more than doubled after the state government introduced several savings measures," with over 2,100 Victorians taking advantage of the initiatives since 1 July.
On the weekend, the west was the top performing region within Melbourne, with an 87.4% clearance rate achieved, as reported by Domain. The inner-east experienced the lowest clearance rate of 64.4%.
