The weekend consisted of another busy auction day, with 1,094 auctions held in Victoria and a clearance rate of 79% after the successful sale of 867 homes. Of the 227 passed in properties, 104 where due to a vendor bid.

9 Lemon Grove, Nunawading was a standout property over the weekend, with eight bidders on auction day. The single storey four bedroom, two bathroom home is located only a short walk away from Mitcham schools and transport, with Eastlink, Tunstall Square and shopping centres nearby. The keen interest in the family property resulted in the home selling for well above the reserve price for an undisclosed amount.

The property sold for $730,000—$100,000 over the vendor's reserve—with six bidders on the day.
