19th July 2011: Enjoy the Rebirth of Newtown Real Estate

Newtown is a Sydney suburb that is categorised by its terrace housing. If you are looking for housing in Sydney that is convenient to Sydney University then Newton real estate is what you are looking for. The eclectic mix of two-up two-down terrace homes and five story mansions makes this small Sydney neighbourhood extremely diverse. The recent renovation of the grain silos in the area into an apartment complex has added to the eclectic appeal.

While this neighbourhood was considered a slum in the fifties and sixties it has come a long way in the last thirty years. The large number of phenomenal cafes has made King St. a bohemian hang out, especially given the University proximity. As the neighbourhood experienced rebirth the gay and lesbian population also increased bringing incredible diversity to what was once a blue collar factory suburb. Newtown real estate is no longer a cheap alternative to renting in other parts of the city, it is where everyone wants to live.
