I just wanted to sing my praises for Julia!! I am a home owner who has had to locate a secondary residence closer to my workplace. I found the process of searching and renting for a premises overwhelming with several agents not presenting an accurate picture of the rental premises. In addition, I would turn up to inspections, only to find the rentals were already secured or misleading or fought for. Julia has been very prompt in getting back to me despite my rather vague message inquiring about the apartment, and I expected no response (I was pretty over it by then). Julia is articulate, warm, professional, immaculately dressed and a straight shooter. I appreciated her guiding me through the various contracts and requirements to secure the property. Things have come a long way since I rented as a uni student with very little in pocket for a grungy house in Fitzroy !!

Anyway, thanks again. You are clearly a great boss with a forward thinking company as she has indicated in previous discussions. She definitely deserves a bonus!! At least shout her breakfast!!

10 - We have used Fletchers Property Management service since 2002 and are very happy indeed with the service. We have recommended Fletchers to others on several occasions.

I wish to sincerely thank you for the successful management of Benwerrin Road over recent times, and in finalising the details for the transition to new ownership, which will be happening shortly.

I would also extend thanks to the Fletchers team involved in the management of the unit since 2011 - when Mum entered Aged Care - particularly on behalf of my sister GE who held power of attorney over that time and dealt with the firm on a regular basis.

Andrew Paterson from Fletchers, Canterbury, went way beyond his duties to assist us firstly acquiring a suitable property for our family to rent and then very competently dealt with some early teething issues when we first moved in. The property that we rented had just been completed and there was unfinished work in the gardens and surrounds of the house and our Landlord was being very difficult in getting these matters completed within a reasonable period of time and Andrew acted in such a way as a “go between” keeping both the Landlord and Tenant well informed and satisfied with the outcomes reached. We found Andrew to be very professional in his approach as well as always being contactable when required. Throughout our times dealing with the Real Estate Industry we have had some frustrating experiences due to the lack of genuine care and attention to detail which was not the case dealing with Andrew. His attitude and demeanour made him a stand out in his industry.

Living in Sydney with two rental properties in Melbourne was causing problems for us with the agent managing both properties. I had no confidence in them. Feedback from rental inspections, follow-up on requests etc was unsatisfactory. I made the decision to look for a more professional agent to manage the properties. I used the internet to source three agents in the Hawthorn area. My first contact with Fletchers was a "quick" response from Andrew Paterson. He was extremely professional and efficient in providing me (via e-mail and phone calls) with all the information I requested on making this decision. Although not the "cheapest" Andrew convinced me Fletchers would provide the best professional service. This has certainly been the case! Even though I havent met Andrew or Avril, who manages the properties for me, I have a real personal bond with Avril. She is so efficient and nothing is ever too much trouble. Over the past couple of decades I recall several similar themed articles popping up post construction spikes, particularly the Southbank explosion of new high-rises over the past decade.  Even out our way in Balwyn, Kew and Hawthorn we have seen a lot of activity.
