You overcame the problem of our non-computer skills in particularly making phone contact and personally dropping off information we needed. Your friendship in all this was valued. Richard and I attribute the successful campaign and sale to a large extent to your hard work and attention to detail. Above all, your communication skills are second to none! Having bought another property in late November, it was imperative that our existing property be sold promptly so as to avoid bridging finance. We approached Gail and her swift response to all of our requirements was a great relief. Once the house was on the market she followed through on all aspects of the intended sale and was able to keep us fully informed of developments. All aspects of advertising etc. were very well thought-out, open for inspections well-handled and at all times we felt that Fletchers were working with our best interests at heart. We were delighted to sign contracts before Christmas.

The house needed a lot of tidying, cleaning and some painting. Gail gave us excellent advice on this and she and Daniel popped in several times to see how we were going and to cheer us on, and to provide us with sources of a good tiler and good but inexpensive lampshades.

Gail gave up updates on every Open for Inspection and a formal, detailed update in writing every Monday. She spoke to us often about how she felt the campaign was going and we felt she was always honest and respectful with us and kept our expectations realistic.

I was executor but tried to keep my three younger brothers in the loop and onside. That wasn't always easy. When Gail realised this she offered to meet with the four of us. Initially we declined as we felt my brothers might give her a hard time. She renewed her offer and the and the four of us and my son met with Gail and Daniel and that was a turning point. My brothers' reservations about estate agents melted when they realised how honest, informed, thorough and just decent Gail and Daniel are.

If we are selling or buying again we will call on Gail and Daniel and without considering anyone else.

Gail did a great job in listing, preparing and selling our home. Her positive attitude and realistic approach was very refreshing, and her communication in terms of keeping us engaged every step of the way (particularly as we are living overseas) was first rate. When I decided to sell my property I invited four agencies to bid for the sale. Gail stood out immediately because she was forthright; she did not over-promise; and came across as someone who had a lot of integrity. I was pleased that my instincts were correct. Throughout the sales program it was clear that she worked hard. She gave me continual updates on prospects and she did not try to gloss over her predictions. At auction we had only one bid and this was under the reserve so the property was passed in. Gail whipped into gear and the property was sold less than 10 minutes later and above reserve.
