14th March 2019 / Prue Fletcher: Refreshing Ways To Organise Your Bathroom

Having grown up in a family of all girls, and now being a mum to two myself, I feel very well-versed to discuss this topic.

"It's my turn! Where's my hair brush? MUMMMM she's got fake tan on my towel AGAIN!"

Here are some Refreshing ways in which I've learnt to keep your bathroom both organised and clean!

1) Compartmentalise EVERYTHING. Makeup, cleaning products, hair dryers and accessories. It makes for a much more organised bathroom setup and also helps you clean areas that would otherwise be left unattended for a while. Simply take out the sections, wipe clean and place back in. @kmartau always have some great options which fit neatly into most standard drawers and cupboards.

2) Have display towels, especially when selling a home. You don't want to worry about whether there is makeup on the good towels or if they've been left wet on the floor (it's up to you if you decide to do this on a normal basis as well - just saying?!)

3) Help to clear your bench space, get rid of your electric tooth brush and invest in @toothcrush!! The brilliant minds behind this great initiative have some compelling math around how 80% of us don't replace our toothbrushes nearly enough as we should and how a Toothcrush subscription is more eco-friendly than buying 4 plastic toothbrushes from the supermarket! So, for $30 a year they deliver you 1 tooth brush per month or if you just want to trial their product, that'll just cost you a fiver. No brainer!
