Rino Presutto is a 'gentlemen of the game', a true family man and someone who Fletchers is extremely proud to have representing the brand.
During office hours, you will find him working hard alongside his colleagues at our flagship Balwyn North office, a suburb he has called home the majority of his life. When the tie and jacket come off at the end of the day, you won't find him roaming far as he enjoys all the suburb has to offer with his beautiful wife, children and friends in tow.
A resident of Balwyn North, you have lived in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne your entire life. Tell us, what do you enjoy most about selling Real Estate in your own backyard?
It's not so much about what I love about Real Estate, it's more the fact that it just feels comfortable for me. I've lived in the Eastern Suburbs all my life, so when I'm invited into homes that I've driven past for many, many years, homes that I walked alongside when I went to school or next to where my wife and I shop or our kids play sport - everything just feels so natural to me when it comes to helping my clients sell their homes. It's like I'm selling my own home.
I still get such a buzz when we are able to help a client find their first home or their dream home and ultimately, when we exceed our clients expectations selling, that's what I really love about Real Estate.
A father of 3, you have been an active community member within the City of Boroondara for many years. Sponsoring many local clubs and events such as having coached the Juniors at Greythorn Football. Club and numerous basketball teams at Greythorn Primary. How has your involvement enhanced your time spent within the community?
Being involved in local community though fundraising and sport has been extremely rewarding. Having the privilege of coaching many of our children's friends through sport has allowed me to build lifelong friendships.
A leader within the Fletchers Group, you have recently become a Senior Associate. What does the term leadership mean to you?
Having a strong work ethic, leading by example and having respect for your colleagues.
Last year, the Fletchers group celebrated 100 years of serving families within our local communities. Tell us, what does 'family' mean to you?
Family is everything to me.
With the advancement of technology across the Real Estate industry now making our profession a round-the-clock business, how do you balance the demands of the job whilst ensuring you maintain peak mental and physical health?
I'm up early every morning, I get to the gym three times a week and walk my Labrador, Benji, every day. I spend as much time with my wife and kids as possible and maintain a healthy diet. I try and keep Sunday's clear and block out my Friday afternoons, usually for a quick game of golf, where I can.
What advice do you have for clients looking to sell this year?
Last year, we saw an extremely quick recovery with house prices, which is so far continuing into 2020. If you have been sitting on the fence, now-is-the-time!
What was your 2019 highlight?
Getting through one of the toughest down markets the Real Estate industry has experienced in quite some time.
You and your beautiful wife, Jen, have a deep connection with both Byron Bay and Fairhaven. What is it that draws you both to these beautiful coastal towns?
We love Byron for its lifestyle, pubs, beaches, restaurants and locals. Fairhaven for its stunning views and that it probably has the best stretch of beach in Victoria. Not to mention the best Surf Life Saving Club as well!
What excites you about the future of Real Estate?
The continued development of technology and the growing demand from buyers.
