It was a hot weekend as we got back into the swing of a full auction day. Plenty of prospective purchasers were out, with large crowds at auctions.
REIV reported 219 auctions over the weekend with a clearance rate of 76%. The last two auction weekends in February look set to be massive, with close to 1,000 auctions already scheduled.
Fletchers achieved a success rate of 80% over the weekend, a strong result so early in the year. We certainly hope that this will set the scene for another positive year in real estate.

In a sought after locale, the home attracted five bidders at auction and was sold for $870,000.
