For every house sold, Fletchers Bellarine will generously donate 200 meals to those in the community experiencing food insecurity, under a brand-new partnership struck with local charity organisation, Feed Me.

"Our commitment to the community goes beyond helping people find their dream homes," said Fletchers Bellarine Director, James Gladman. "Through this new initiative, we want to make a meaningful difference to our neighbours by ensuring those in need have access to delicious, nourishing meals."

Fletchers Bellarine will kickstart the initiative by donating 5,000 meals to Feed Me, with an ongoing commitment to provide 200 meals for every house sold by the award-winning real estate agency.

Those attending open homes will also be able to contribute to the cause by scanning a QR code that will be displayed at every inspection, and automatically donating $5 which will buy 5 meals under the Feed Me program.

"We are incredibly excited about this new partnership," said Feed Me Founder Lana Purcell. "This initiative with Fletchers will significantly enhance our efforts to nourish our community in a dignified way."

Feed Me supports more than 2,000 local families in need. The meals are composed of ingredients and products sourced through Feed Me's food rescue program.

"By saving good quality food and products from local businesses and commercial avenues, we are not only preventing unnecessary waste but also feeding those in need, meaning every rescued meal is a testament to the power of community compassion and sustainability."

Feed Me averages 6,000 meals a week, with most of them distributed through the organisation's outreach and delivery model.
