The trend of strong auction volumes and new listings continues, as we reach the halfway mark of the last month of the Spring selling season. Domain figures show that there was a 32.7 per cent rise in the number of new home listings in October, compared to the month before. Melbourne house prices have also soared this year, up 16.8 per cent in the 12 months to September.

Victorians were plunged into all too familiar lockdown conditions last Friday, as the state began a 7-day "circuit-breaker" to stem the flow of a growing COVID-19 outbreak. As a result, in-person inspections are banned, and auctions moved to online/virtual only.
Market Update | 20 & 21 June 2020
Following several double-digit spikes in the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus, Premier Daniel Andrews was forced to delay a further easing of restrictions over the weekend. Auctions and open for inspections, which were set to allow up to 50 attendees on site from today, will now remain at a limit of 20 patrons, along with restaurants, pubs, cafes, gyms and cinemas.
