Queenscliff 1 St. Andrews Street

Charm, privacy, and comfort in the heart of Queenscliff

Floorplan

Tucked away in a quiet street running parallel to bustling Hesse Street, this delightfully-restored Victorian cottage combines some of the character of Queenscliff's proud past with the warmth and comforts of contemporary living. With just a short walk to main-street shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants, or a leafy stroll through the park to the bay beachfront and marina, here you have the best of coastal choices.

From the compact front verandah, a central hall with golden Baltic polished floor boards presents a bedroom either side - one with fine built-in cabinetry and an original open fireplace and mantel.

A light-filled open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge area is enhanced by double glass doors flowing easily to a private paved courtyard that enjoys north-east sunshine and provides the perfect spot for alfresco entertainment.

The modern kitchen boasts a Blanco electric oven and 5-burner gas cooktop, a Dishlex dishwasher, and plenty of cupboard space, while the adjacent lounge features an impressive glass atrium and a slow-combustion wood heater. There's a spa bath in the bright bathroom next door, plus a shower and WC, and an adjacent laundry that opens onto the single carport. A split-system and ceiling fans guarantee year-round comfort. Very compact, very charming, and very appealing.

Important Information

Fletchers Area Guide Queenscliff, VIC 3225

Situated on Bellarine Peninsula and the entrance to Port Phillip Bay, Queenscliff's first residents came in the 1850s. The settlement received a fillip 20 years later when a rail service connected the town to Geelong. Today, that rail service only runs 16 km from Drysdale - now as a tourist attraction. The Bellarine Rail Trail is a walking and cycling track that largely follows the railway line. Historical buildings abound in and around Queenscliff's commercial centre.
