The median house price recorded by the REIV in the June 2023 quarter was $2,280,000. 23 km north east of Melbourne lays Park Orchards, a semi-rural setting with just 3,100 residents living in an area of 6.3 km2 between Ringwood and Warrandyte. Much of the original bushland character of the area still remains despite clearing for orchards some 100 years ago. Petty's Orchard is the most famous of the remaining orchards.
