Josh Callaghan knows real estate.  He combines over 20 years’ expertise in mid to high-end residential property and broad acre land developments on the Mornington Peninsula with the experience of owning and operating his own agency for over 14 years. At just 21 years of age, Josh was one of the youngest fully licensed agents in Victoria. He quickly progressed to become Branch Manager of MPRE Mornington (one of the most dynamic real estate agencies on the Peninsula of its time) aged just 24, before going on to establish his own practice in 2005.

A dedicated and adaptive agent, Josh has an honest, creative and cutting-edge approach to securing successful outcomes for every individual. His progressive and dynamic leadership style ensures that his people-first agency continues to flourish with an abundance of referrals and repeat business.

Included in a long list of professional achievements which on numerous occasions have shaped the market across the Mornington Peninsula, Josh currently holds the record sale price for a beachfront Blairgowrie address with 1-3 Head Street in 2019. Approximately 500 people watched 35-37 Pearse Road go under the hammer in 2015, breaking the record for most-attended auction in the region to this day. Josh was also the instigator of the sale and subsequent development of Moonah Links’ most successful street “Nagles View”, a boutique 17-lot subdivision. Often referred to as the leading auctioneer on the Peninsula, he is humbled by requests from other local agencies to call auctions on their behalf.

To whom it may concern. My husband and I recently sold a property in Placadena Road, Fingal. Our property was rather unique in that it wasn`t your normal beach house, or, on the other hand, one of the very upmarket properties available on the Peninsula. This reduced our buyer range quite considerably as it targeted a much smaller clientele of families wishing to reside on the property permanently. It was a large family home with many extras, pool, spa, tennis court on land 6 ¾ acres. Throughout the long process of selling our property we were very lucky to have Josh Callaghan and his fellow agent Megan as our agents. Their communication with us and overall knowledge of the property market was excellent. After every open house or inspection, we would be contacted to let us know how it had gone, also regular updates re the current market situation. When eventually we did have an interested buyer Josh came up with some innovative ideas to clinch the deal. His perseverance was amazing. After the contract was signed we did have ongoing problems with our purchaser and Josh and Megan were always readily available to organize meetings to try and sort things out. The fact that they already had their commission did not stop them from helping us which I felt was well and truly above and beyond the call of duty and I`m sure not many agents would have been be so obliging. We would happily use Josh and his agency for any further real estate deals and recommend them to other interested property sellers or buyers.
