15th January 2019 / Prue Fletcher: Top hot spots on the Mornington Peninsula

We love nothing more than escaping to the Mornington Peninsula every chance we get!

Apart from the salty air and the joy of watching our kids play in the sand, here's a few of our favourites that keep us coming back, year after year.

Grab a Bite to Eat
@greenoliveatredhill is a must stop for a bite to eat with the family. Grab a tasting paddle and watch the kids run across the sprawling green grass, only taking a break to feed the ducks! Afternoon bliss!
1180 Mornington Flinders Road, Main Ridge

For the Little Ones
Always a gem at passing on a great tip, @lnixon9 let us know about @hawkes_vegetables and we can't wait to visit there these holidays! Richard, the owner, often takes his children out to pick strawberries, corn and potatoes. He says, "it's wonderful for kids to understand where food comes from and learn an appreciation for the energy it takes to grow it".
61 Boneo Road, Boneo

For Kids of All Ages!
@boneo_maze, we could spend a full day there! Mini golf, trampolines, boat rides, giant checkers and much more. It has all the bases (and mazes) covered!
95 Limestone Road, Fingal

Wine Time
Our favourite place to stop by for a glass of wine or an overnight stay is @polperrowines. With an in-room cellar door you can choose your favourite glass, relax on your private deck or head out to lounge along their famous 'white chair row'. A must visit!
150 Red Hill Road, Red Hill

Relaxation at its Best
Finally, for a bit of R 'n' R, you can't go past the
@peninsulahotsprings. Make sure you book ahead though, as the holiday season is always a little silly!
Springs Lane, Fingal

Happy Holidays!
